Look for Nick Blake at the Aids walk, he an a friend will be walking in support of finding a cure for aids. The walk starts at 9 am so be there or be square! Donations are avaliable in any amount! We at Discount Fabrics encourage our employees to get involved with our community and focus on serious health and safety issues.

Thanks to everyone for being so great at the SF 38th annual PRIDE PARADE! We at Discount Fabrics were very pleased with the turnout and large acceptance of the free condoms we gave out. Because we believe that community is one of the most important parts of running a business, and health in the community is vital. Thanks again from the entire Discount Fabrics staff for your support.

Our History

Discount Fabrics began as a small warehouse over three decades ago in San Francisco's Mission District. Owner and founder Ronald Blake got a tip that fabrics were a hot commodity. With brilliance and a strong customer base he and now daughter Linda have made Discount Fabrics one of the top fabric stores in Northern California. We have been featured on the hot home improvement television network HGTV, and work regularly with some of the top party planners in the Bay Area.

With four locations to serve you. One edgy store in the landmark Haight St., one beautifully stocked store in the classic Sunset District, our main warehouse in the south of Market , and one large beautifully stocked location in Berkeley right off of 80, we are sure to have something to suit your needs.
